What are symptoms of chronic tonsillitis?
chronic sore throat, halitosis, tonsiliths
What will a pt with tonsillar hypertrophy have a hx of?
snoring, pauses in breathing, grasping and choking, restless sleep, mouth breathing, enuresis
What are some daytime sxs of tonsillar hypertrophy?
fatigue, behavior problems, school performance issues
What is the gold standard for tonsillar hypertrophy?
sleep study
What is a red flag for tonsillar hypertrophy?
unilateral tonsillary hypertrophy w/o evidence of infection or abscess - MALIGANCY
What is not seeing any tonsils at all?

We can see tonsils but no impingement
