- Spirit/shen: radiation & brilliant
What does the pulse tell you?
-the state of balance of the body as a whole
-the state of individual organs (especially yin organs)

- Speed
- Rhythm: regular/ irregular
- Size: long/short
- Width: thin/thick/thready
- Shape: wiry/soft/tense
- Quality: copy/rushing/slippery
