What does the pulse tell you?
-the state of balance of the body as a whole
-the state of individual organs (especially yin organs)

- Rhythm: regular/ irregular
- Size: long/short
- Width: thin/thick/thready
- Shape: wiry/soft/tense
- Quality: copy/rushing/slippery
How does the pathogenic factor “cold” show on the tongue?
-white coating
-bluish-purple

-yellow coating

-can have cracks if heat is chronic
