Q

how did weaknesses in the league make failure inevitable?

A
  • very muddled organisation some countries had more power than others. meant to work together but no one can agree- too many countries involved- The US did not want to be involved- Russia and Germany not allowed to join; not encouraging peaceful relations-moral condemnation was not very effective- no standing army so hard to enforce decisions
