Magnificent moments
1. Skiing down the mountains of Colorado in a chained formation with the St. Louis ski club.
1b. Being lost in a white out snow storm in China Bowl with a friend’s wife. We had to release the edges of the skis to feel which way was down. Then when we heard voices over us, we knew we were under a ski lift so we skied blindly down the mountain by keeping the voices overhead until we could see again.
2. Lost boot when tornado flattened the campground. Boot was found by couple in Council Bluffs, Iowa about 450 miles from St. Louis.
