- Fibroblasts -> 3-5 days
- Lasts 2-4/52
- Depending on size and site of injury
- Scar tissue formation
○ Collagen changes as the scar matures
- Initally Type III collagen
§ Weak and haphazard in structure
○ Later Type I Collagen
Remodelling
- Day 21- 12 months +
- Wound tissue convert to scar tissue
Type I replaces Type II Collagen
