Diagnosis
NICE Guidelines:
- >Age 45
- Activity related joint pain
Stiffness lasts less than 30 minutes
Grading Kellegren Lawerence Scale
0- No joint space narrowing
1- Possible osteophytic lipping, doubtful narrowing
2- Definite osteophytes, maybe narrowing?
3- Moderate osteophytes, narrowing,scleoris
Large osteophytes, narroing, severe scelrosis and defnite bone end defmromity
Surgical
Hip Resurfacing- like a cap over the head of the femur
Partial hip replacement
Total Hip Replacement
