What is procrastination?
the delay of an intended and important task even in the light that offput of the task will have negative impacts
When do we procrastinate?
When a task is aversive, boring, repetitive, lacking meaning. prioritises short term mood over long term goal
what is temporal extension?
offloading a task from present self to future self.

Sirosis - did a meta-analysis of literature looking at procrastination and future time orientation. found a medium-strong negative relationship between procrastination and time orientation.
