Secretion pooling
Poor ability to handle secretions (saliva): drooling @ the mouth and gagging
Tacky mucosa
Sticky tongue, mouth, and lips indicating early dehydration
Tonsillar edema
Swelling of the tonsils, indicating infection
Tonsillar exudate
Pus on the tonsils, indicating infection of the tonsils
Trismus
Inability to fully open mouth due to inflamed jaw muscles
Uvulva midline
Uvulva in norm. position (not shifted)
