What are the crew briefings?
ICE Briefing:
Introduction: Crew member verification, required documents, fit to fly.
Communication: Cabin flight deck emergency notification and communication. Distress signal (double-double) call with full name. Use the emergency button if there is an emergency even in sterile.
Entry Protocol: Both attendants come up, look through and verify, open door and swap with FA, repeat process.
All Flights Briefing:
Flight time, altitude, alternate, potential to divert and weather, MEL/CDLs, LEOs or FAMs, taxi time etc

What is a precautionary landing?
The captain anticipates the landing is non-routine but will be successful and will not cause injury.
An emergency evacuation is not anticipated or the evacuation decision will be made after landing.
Airport rescue and firefighting equipment may be required.
What is an emergency landing?
The captain anticipates the landing may cause injury to passengers or damage to aircraft and aircraft rescue and firefighting are required. Flight attendants assume that there will be an emergency evacuation. Communication must include NTSBO to flight attendants.

Signal - The signal used for evacuation or non-evacuation of the aircraft once landed.
