Pleural mesothelomia

A

pT1: limited to ipsilateral parietal pleura
pT2: involving each of the pleural surfaces with: diaphragmatic muscle; underlying lung parenchyma
pT3: locally advanced but potentially resectable tumor. (features: endothoracic fascia; mediastinal fat; solitary resectable focus in soft tissues of chest wall; pericardium
pT4: Describes locally advanced technically unresectable tumor. (features: diffuse extension or multifocal masses of tumor in the chest wall, direct extension to peritoneum; or contralateral pleura; or mediastinal organs; or spine; myocardium)

Thymus

A

pT1a: no mediastinal pleura involvement
pT1b: direct invasion mediastinal pleura
pT2: direct invasion pericardium
pT3: with direct invasion into lung, brachiocephalic vein, superior vena cava, phrenic nerve, chest wall, or extrapericardial pulmonary artery or veins

pT4: invasion into: aorta (ascending, arch, or descending), arch vessels, intrapericardial pulmonary artery, myocardium, trachea, esophagus
