Dcis (excision)
_ pTis (DCIS): Ductal carcinoma in situ
_pTis (Paget): Paget disease of the nipple NOT associated with invasive carcinoma and / or DCIS in
the underlying breast parenchyma#
Breast phyllodes tumors
pT1: 5 cm or less
pT2: more than 5 cm but not more than 10 cm
pT3: more than 10 cm but not more than 15 cm
pT4: more than 15 cm
Breast invasive
_pT1 mi: < or equal to 1 mm
_pT1a: > 1 mm but <= 5 mm
_pT1b: > 5 mm but <= to 10 mm
_pT1c: > 10 mm but <= 20 mm
_pT2: > 20 mm but <= 50 mm
pT3: > 50 mm in greatest dimension
pT4: any size with direct extension to the chest wall and / or to the skin (ulceration or skin nodules
pT4a: Extension to the chest wall; invasion or adherence to pectoralis muscle in the absence of invasion of chest wall structures does not qualify as T4
_ pT4b: Ulceration and / or ipsilateral satellite nodules and / or edema (including peau d’orange) of the skin which do not meet the criteria for inflammatory carcinoma
pT4c: Both T4a and T4b are present
##### Inflammatory carcinoma requires the presence of clinical findings of erythema and edema involving at least one-third or more of the skin of the breast. (Note M)
