What does the Inferior Thoracic Aperture consists of?
Bone, cartilage, ligament form its margin closed by the diaphragm.
What are the functions of the thoracis wall?
-Breathing
-protection of vital organs

What do the superior aperture consist of:
P: body t1 vertebrae
A; manubrium of sternum

Brachial plexus, subclavian artery, subclavian vein- runs inferiorly through 1st rib

the intercostal : artery, vein, nerve within the lower costal groove.

continue as intercostal nerve but runs in : T1-T11
