A
- Correct quantity and securely stowed.
- Red or green plastic seal intact.

A
Can desalinate over six gallons of portable water per day from sea water.

- Correct quantity and securely stowed.
- Toggle switch is in auto position.
- Antenna is fitted.

ELT on land?
A
- Pull toggle switch up and move it to the “ON” position.
- Place the ELT vertical in a high area, free from obstruction.

ELT on water?
A
- Pull the toggle switch up and move it to the “ON” position.
- Attach the slide raft using the lanyard.
- Place in the water and allow it to float.

Confirmation and duration of the ELT?
A
- Visual and audio indicators will confirm activation.
- The high energy battery has a duration of approx 48 hours.

How the ELT can be switched off?
A
By pulling the AUTO/OFF/ON toggle switch up and moving it to the OFF position.

Operation of the ADT on water?
A
- Ensure it is in the “armed” position.
- Attach to the slide raft using the lanyard.
- Place it in fresh or salt water.
- Water sensor will activate it, if not then pull the lanyard switch and move to the ON position.

- Visual and audio indicators will confirm activation.
- The high energy battery has a duration greater than 60 hours.

DAY/NIGHT FLARES?
A
- The DAY side emits bright ORANGE smoke and is identified by the 4 ribbed cap.
- The NIGHT side emits a RED flare, and is identified by the 8 ribbed cap. Can also be used during the day if needed.

Operation of the flares?
A
- Unscrew the cap and point the flare in a downward direction away from the face.
- Pull ball out sharply to fire
- Hold at arms length, plug will eject after two seconds.
- Maintain the firing position until it has discharged completely.
- After use, dip the end in water, sand or snow to cool it down.
- Save the other end to be used at a later time.

Aerial flare use?
A
Aerial flare is for single use only, either during the day or night.

Precautions for all flares?
A
- After activation, if the flare starts to emit flares, dip it momentarily in water.
- If the flare fails to ignite, never turn it to look at it as it could flare up in face.
- In the event of ditching, lean forward to the hot drips don’t go onto the slide raft.
