Signs and Symptoms of Muscle Fatigue

A

Uncomfortable sensation in the muscle, possible pain and cramping
Shaking or trembling of the contracting muscle
Unintentional slowing of the contraction velocity while repeting the
exercise
Inconsistent or jerky movements
Inability to complete the exercise
Incorrect movement patterns in order to complete the activity
Inability to continue low intensity physical activity

A

Min 6 weeks. Neural changes the first 6 weeks, after that fibre size and nr of fibres, also takes longer to be reversed.

A

at least 8 weeks before pain is likely to reduce.

A

Nothing first 5 days. 1-2 weeks mechanotherapy, pain not above 2. Active contractions without resistance in beginning.

A

Oscillations stimulate joint mechanoreceptors to inhibit nociceptive feedback into the joints. 3x 30 sec.
