0 = fully active
1 = ambulatory + able to do light activities

3 = capable of limited self care, confined to bed/ chair for >50% of time
4 = totally confined to bed/ chair, completely disabled
5 = dead

Karnofsky performance status
A
100 = fully active 80 = normal activity with effort 60 = requires occasional assistance but able to do most 40 = requires special care + assistance 20 = very sick, hospitalisation needed 0 = dead
