A person is guilty of robbery if
He steals, and immediately before doing so, or at the time of doing so, and in order to do, he uses force on any person or puts, or seeks to put any person in fear of being then and there subjected to force

He enters a building or part of a building as a trespasser and with intent to

Take a conveyance without authority from the owner or lawful authority, taks any conveyance for his own or anothers use, or knowing any conveyance has been taken without lawful authority allows himself to be carried in or on it

What is an ‘Acquisitive crime
: Acquisitive means that a crime has been committed to gain possessions, whereby the offender has acquired items from another person

: A person is guilty of the offence of theft if they dishonestly appropriate property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving them of it

Section 3 relates to appropriating property. Appropriate means any assumption by a person of the rights of the owner. This includes where they came by the property, innocently or not, without stealing it, if they later assume a right to the property by keeping it or dealing with it as if they owned it.
What is section 4 of the Theft Act?
Property. Property includes money and all other property, real or personal
What does property NOT include
Wild creatures, mushroom, flowers, fruit or foliage grown in the wild

What does section 5 of the Theft Act relate to?
Belonging to another. This can be possession, proprietary interest or control
What does ‘Proprietary interest’ mean
Proprietary interest means ownership (having legal title) of property or similar rights
