When ice changes into water vapor without melting first
Runoff
When water is moving downhill

The process in which plants absorb water and it evaporates from the leaves.
Fog
A cloud at ground level
Cumulus
A cloud that looks like white, puffy, balls; bring fair weather, mid-altitude
Stratus
A cloud that looks like a gray blanket covering the sky, low altitude, brings a light drizzle
Cirrus
A cloud that is thin, wispy, and white; high altitude, brings fair weather
Vertical cloud
Also called thunderheads or cumulonimbus clouds, can be anywhere from 1,000 to 12,000 meters, dark gray, bring thunderstorms
Rain
A type of precipitation that is a liquid and falls when the temperature is higher than 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius
Hail
A type of precipitation that is made of large ice crystals, temperature does not affect hail
