Ecosystems Flashcards
Environment

Adaptation
A type of behavior that allows a species to live and reproduce in the environment that it is in
Species
A specific type of a biotic factor in a population
Community
All of the biotic factors that live together in an ecosystem
Biotic
Living
Abiotic
Non living
Niche
Each species’ role in it’s community
Ecosystem
An area where biotic and abiotic factors interact with each other
Population
One type of biotic factor in a community
Habitat
Where a biotic factor lives
Biome
Regions of the world with a similar climate, plants, and animals
Taiga
The largest biome in the world
Tundra
The coldest biome in the world
Grassland
