A

A cutting is a section of a vine shoot that is planted and then grows as a new plant

How is the layering method used to propagate a grape variety?

A

A cane is bent down and a section of it is buried in the ground with the tip pointing upwards.
The buried section takes root.
Once these roots are established, the link between the new plant and the old plant is cut

A

Cross-pollinization in controlled conditions will produce grape with seeds. Planting these seeds will create a new grape variety.
