Germans seen as ‘socially useful’ however everyone else was a ‘burden on the community’

How did the Nazis view gay people, alcoholics and juvenile delinquents ?
Socially undesirable
Also seen as dangerous and a bad influence and believed they had to be removed from society
How did the Nazis persuade others to think like them ?
Propaganda campaigns which ensured German people turned against the ‘undesirable’ groups

What was the sterilisation law ?
Passed in July 1933
Allowed Nazis do sterilise people with certain illnesses
Around 350k people sterilised between 1934-45
What were the concentration camps ?
Many underriable sent to camps
Included: prostituts, gay people and delinquents
In 1938 Roma and Sinti vagrants added to the list
What was the euthanasia campaign ?
In 1939 Nazis secretly exterminated the mentally ill by Euthenasia
They were seen as a threat to the Aryan race and purity
Around 6k people murdered by starvation or lethal injection
