He organised an anti Jewish demonstration which envolved attacking Jewish property, shops, homes and synagogues

Had their windows smashed on the events of 9-10 November 1938 which became known as Krisrallnach or ‘crystal night’

100 Jewish people died

To make insurance claims for damage to property

Any surviving Jewish businesses were not allowed to re open under Jewish management
Instead they had to have pure Germans

Many Germans were discussed and Hitler and Goebbels became anxious that it could be seen as the work of the Nazis
