Why do we use objectives?
To inform the student of what is expected and bring the lesson into focus.

What are some common types of lectures?
B FIT
Briefing - concise facts without elaboration
Formal lecture - no audience participation
Illustrated talk - lot’s of visuals
Teaching lecture - audience participation
What is a guided discussion?
Relies heavily on student participation. The students discover how much they know instead of the teacher presenting it.
What is the demonstration/performance method?
Learn by doing.

How can we use computer based training effectively?
Don’t use it excessively, students still need instructor guidance.
It can allow students to progress at their own speed and can offer benefits because it is more interactive.
