What are the bones that make up the pelvic limb?
-limb girdle = pelvis -thigh -Crus -Pes
What does the ilium, ischium, and pubis make up?
Limb girdle = pelvis
What makes up the thigh?
The femur (+Patella, and other sesamoids)
What do the tibia and fibula make up?
The crus
What makes up the pes?
Tarsus = 3 rows tarsal bones - talus, clacaneus - centrale - tarsals 1-4 (could be 5) Metatarsals = 5 metatarsal bones 5 digits = 2-5 phalanges on each

What is a condyle on a bone?
Bones meet each other = joint surface
What is an epicondyle?
Epicondyle refers to a protuberance on the condyle of a long bone.
Epicondyle provides sites for the attachment of muscles.

What is a facet?
Joints in the spine specifically

What is the name of the structure in red?

A Trochlea - resembles an old pulley system wheel

What is a process?
Something that sticks off the bone
What is tuberosity?
A rounded prominence, usually serving for the attachment of muscles or ligaments

Tubercle?
A tuberosity on a front limb/rib - another word for tuberosity
Trochanter?
A tuberosity on a hindlimb
What is a Fossa?
Dent in the surface

What are Fissures, canals, and ducts/foramen?
They are types of Fossas: 1. Split (skull parts being broken apart) 2. Long indentation 3. Hole through = also known as a foramen - vessels go through here
