Appendicular Skeleton
A
All the rest of the skeleton. Limbs, collar bone, pelvic etc. Help us move around.

Pectoral Girdle
A
Attaches upper limbs to axial Skeleton.
Consists of the clavicle and scapula.

Pelvic Girdle
A
Attaches lower limbs to axial skeleton.
Consists of two hip bones.

Articulate Surfaces
A
The specific surface of the bone that forms a joint. Head of a bone.
Eg. Condyle: Apple shaped ending bone. Knuckle.

Protrusions
A
Bits that stick out, small or large.
- Tuberosity: Large/small bumps on the bone.
- Epicondyle: Small bumps on top of the condyle.
- Process: Bit that sticks out.
- Spine: Attachment for ligaments.

Depressions
A
Hollows, notches or holes.
- Neck
- Notch: Allows for nerves, vessels or other structures to pass throughout.
- Foramen: Complete joke.

Axial Skeleton
A
The central part of the skeleton. Includes the Ribcage, sternum, vertebral column and the skull.
