The renaissance was during the 13 through 1600s and Renaissance means rebirth in context it refers to a revival of art and learning

Italy was a prime spot for the renaissance because it’s thriving cities a wealthy merchant class and the classical heritage of Greece and Rome.
What was the “circle thing?”
The circle thing was if you have money you have power and if you have power you have money if you had one thing then you have the other.

The black death was the view Bubonic plague

The black death was caused by the fleas on the rats, and people have bad hygiene so people did not take baths or wash themselves properly.

The black death killed around 60% of Europe’s population. It killed him because they were not clean people, so it was hard to keep the virus away.

Merchants donated politics because they thought they deserved power the city states were small, a high percentage of citizens could be intensely involved.

During the renaissance in movement started in art and writing changed. New ways of learning and living were created. It had thriving cities, wealthy merchants, and classical heritage. They focus more on the here and now. Middle ages believed in God.

Renaissance Meehan thought that renaissance women should be intelligent and charming, but not seek fame. They should be smart but not draw attention away from their husbands.
Who is Isabella D’ Este?
Isabella D’ Este is a woman born into ruling of the city state of Ferrera, and she married the ruler of another city state, Mantua. She built famous art collections by bringing in many Renaissance artist to her court. Her husband was taken captive and she defended Mantua and one his release.
Who is Michaelangelo?
Michelangelo was a Renaissance man, he excelled as a painter, sculptor, architect, and a poet. He is most famous for the way he portrayed the human body in paintings and sculptures

Leonardo da Vinci was awesome because he had a long beard.

Secular help spread ideas by the printing press. It hurt to church because they stop going to church because they had the information at home

Describe how a pope might have been corrupt
The pope might’ve been corrupt because they were horrible, spent money on arts, but in wars, lavish places, and one fathered many children, and someone married, drank, and even gambled.

Martin Luther became famous because he challenged the church the church was saying that you could buy your way into heaven but Luther saw that that was not right so he challenge them.

Papa Leo X’ S threat to Luther was excommunication if he did not react to what he said. It means that he was taking Luther’s membership to the church away

Charles V proclaimed that Luther was heretic, and he said that no one was to give Luther food or shelter. Also, all of his books were supposed to be burned.
