A
- Purpose is to identify individuals who may have problems of a clinical magnitude, or may be at risk of developing them

A
-Diagnosis: Information on symptoms is compared to diagnostic criteria to determine diagnoses.
- Case Formulation: Process of creating a psychological profile of clinically relevant facts of a patient

- Use of assessment data and empirical literature to make predictions about the patient’s future psychological functioning

- Taking all the information about the client and combining it with scientific literature to create a plan
