Where would you find a voluntary skeletal muscle?
Attached to the skeleton
Where would you find an involuntary smooth muscle?
Organs or pipes

In the heart
What is an insertion?
The part of the muscle that is attached to the bone and can move.
What is an origin?
The part of the muscle that is attached to the bone and cant move.
What is skeletal muscle made up of?
75%- water
5% - inorganic subtanxes
20 % muscle forming cells- myoblasts
What is a myoblast and what do they produce?
A muscle forming cell that produces actin and myosin filaments.
What is produced when actin and myosin and bundles together?
Myofibrils.
Where would you find Trapezius, pectoralis, deltoid?
Muscles of the upper body (front)
Where would you find the gastrocnemius, soleus, tibilais anterior, extensor digitorium longus?
Musles of the lower leg.
