A
  • Most widespread and makes up the embryonic skeleton
  • Can find it in human adults in free moving joints such as articular cartilage at the end of ribs, nose, larynx, trachea and bronchi.

  • Strong tissue found predominantly in the intervertebral discs of the spine and menisci of the knee.
  • Also found in glenoid and acetabular labra and lining of bony grooves for tendons.
