what are the steps in the menstrual cycle
A
FSH is made (in pituitary gland) goes to ovaries and makes oestrogen, which makes eggs mature, uterus lining thickens. then, LH inhibits FSH but stimulates the egg release. then, progesterone comes in from empty egg and inhibits both LH and FSH to ensure no more eggs are produced
