P- Writing news paper articles
E- News papers are under no legal obligation to be politically impartial and often openly support a party/stance on an issue
E- The daily telegraph would write in favour of the tories and the National newspaper would support the SNP

P- By showing coverage on television
E- TV debates between party leaders have become a common feature of election campaigns since 2010 . Parties spend huge sums of money on party election broadcasts
E- Tv shows like BBC question time and the Andrew Marr show try to hold politicians to account
