Decribe three ways to fight in an election

A

P- To put posters with the name of the party and candidate
E- These posters ‘advertise’ the candidate and the party and they encourage you to vote
E- Throught Kirckaldy Snp, labour and liberal democrat posters were put on lamposts and bill boards, some voters also put posters on their bedroom windows

P- Canvassing
E- This involves going to peoples doors and explaining your parties policies. This is important if you want to convince ‘floating voters’
E- In the 2019 election candidates Neale Hanvey (SNP) and Lesley Laird (Labour) were down kirckaldy high street meeting and encouraging voters to vote for them

P- Elderly supporters to vote on election day
E- Many elderly people want to vote but cant get to the polling station. This is important if it is a marginal constituency where every vote counts
E- You would pick these voters up at there home or residential care home and drive them to the polling station.
