Sport is developed and produced through relationships and social networks of people who share similar views
What is the interactionist approach?
- Stresses the fact that it is people who create society
- Society controls individuals, but people make society
- Sports change to match the perspectives and identities of those playing them

Time - add physical activity to daily routine, eg cycling to work
Negative experience - invite a friend/family member to join a club with you
Motivation - pay for a membership (commit to exercise)
Lack of skill - select activities that require little skill, eg jogging
Lack of resources - select activities requiring few facilities/equipment
Family responsibilities - exercise with children
What are some solutions to barriers for disability?
- Increased investment
