What is the vulva?
The vulva is the name given to a woman’s external sex organs
What is the urethral opening?
It is the tiny hole where urine comes out
What is the vaginal opening?
The entrance to the vagina
What is the hymen?
The thin membrane covering the entrance to the vagina
What is the anus?
Where the faeces leaves the body
What is the clitoris?
It is a very sensitive organ that lies in the fold of the labia minora. When a woman is sexually aroused, the clitoris becomes more exposed and firm.
What is the labia majora?
Are two folds of the skin sometimes called the outer lips of the vulva
What is the labia minora?
Aka inner lips that are thinner and more sensitive folds surrounding the vaginal opening. The are also moist because fluids are produced by the glands in the labia.
What carries urine out of the body?
The urethra (also for men)
What is the female organ containing eggs?
The ovaries
What are the tubes that carry the eggs to the uterus?
The fallopian tubes
What is the muscular organ that hold the baby during pregnancy?
The uterus
Muscular through which the baby is born
Vagina
