Oxytocin-Responsible for uterus contractions during childbirth. Pleasure hormone.
The pineal gland
Melatonin-Responsible for sleep wake cycle, dark and light.
The thyroid gland
Thyroxine- Responsible for regulating metabolism by aiding heart and digestive functioning.
The adrenal gland
Adrenaline-Responsible for flight or fight response by increasing heart rate and contracting blood vessels.
Pancreas
Insulin-Responsible for blood glucose levels by allowing cells to absorb glucose from the blood.
Ovaries
Oestrogen-Controls the regulation of female reproductive systems including pregnancy and the menstrual cycle and the development of female features in puberty.
Testes
Testosterone-Responsible for development of male sex characteristics during puberty.
