Name the 3 ligaments that elbow and describe them
A
- Ulnar collateral ligament= goes from medial epicondyle of the humerus to the coronoid process of the ulna
- Radial collateral ligament= goes from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus to the head of the radius
- Annular ligament= surrounds the head of the ligament

Describe nursemaids elbow
A
The subluxation of the radial head which is often occurs in children when they are swung or lifted upward quickly by there arms (sudden longitudinal traction on arm)

A
medial epicondylitis, resulting from excessive use
