they were orginally set up as personal body guards for Hitler. but in 1929 Himmler took it over and in early 1930 they were the nazis private police force.

A
they were the non-uniformed secret police swet up in 1933 by goering. they were to identify anyone who was crticising or opposing the nazi government. they used fear on people.

they were formed by himmler in 1931. they kept records of everyone who was suspected of opposing the nazis and hitler.
