Scientific study or biological structures that underpin cognitive processes

What is the information processing approach? - theoretical and computer models
Suggest that information flows through the cognitive system in a sequence of stages that include import, storage and retrieval
What do they compare the mind too?
A computer by suggesting that there are similarities in the way information is processed
What is the concept of central processing unit?
The concept of coding and the use of stores to hold information
What is neuroscience?
Scientific study of the the influence of the brain structures on mental processes
