THe riots were the consequence of poor living conditions in the ghettos.and the failure of black complaints to them.
African Americans should be listened to and properly involved in resolving the problems.
Policing methods must change because black communities do not trust police.
Policing during riots made them worse.
Money provided on improving conditions had not been spent on planned improvement, just on police.
King was assassinated on
