Sticky platelets clump together, release of substances-attract more platelets, rapid gathering of platelets at site of vascular damage, formation of platelet plug to reduce bleeding
What does clot formation do during the process of clotting
Clotting factors activate substances
to form a meshwork of fibers, Fibrin net traps large particles such as RBCs and platelets as blood flow through, Clot formed - seals off the opening to stop bleeding
