Why were some people frustrated with non-violent direct action? What did they do?
A
- despite it achieving the 1964 CRA, AA stilled faced poverty, low wages, bad housing and poor education
- they rioted and took to looting and arson
- were fuelled by frustration at the poor living conditions and the fact that the police did not protect the rights of the AA
