A writer and publisher who lived between 1706 and 1790. He is well known for the book: Poor Richard’s Almanac. He established the first public library. He was a Scientist and an inventor. He helped in drafting the Declaration of Independence. He was a Founding Father. He secured French aid during the Revolutionary War. He is considered the most celebrated early American, after George Washington.
