Chi Sigma was formed because its founders, just like Sigma Chis original founders, sought the ideal fraternity and didnt find it on Centrals campus.
In the Fall of 1863, Paul Parets, Keith Anderson, and their comrads found Sigma Chi to be what they desired. After 3 years of laboring, Sigma Chi sent Canadian Sig, Mr John Grahm, in the Fall of 1866 to interview the Chi Sigma brothers and decide if they were worthy to be Sigma Chis. On April 29, 1867 Chi Sigma got word Nationals had completed there request and soon after Chi Sigma became Zeta Rho of Sigma Chi on May 21, 1967. They were instilled by the Zeta Theta Chapter at GMI.
