Plants need water, air, sunlight and nutrients to grow.

What are leaves for?
To absorb sunlight
What is the function of the root.
The root holds the plant firm in the ground and absorbs water and nutrients from the soil
Describe the stem
The stem is strong and holds the plants and leaves onto the plant

Leaves are green and flat
What does an egg carry?
The egg carries the nutrients that the animal needs to grow

The mom and dad take turns to sit on it.
How is the crocodile egg kept warm?
The parents bury the egg in teh soil
What happens if eggs are not kept warm?
The egg will rot and the baby will die.

The flower carries the male and female parts for reproduction
