Plants need water, air, sunlight and nutrients to grow.

What are leaves for?
To absorb sunlight
What is the function of the root.
The root holds the plant firm in the ground and absorbs water and nutrients from the soil
Describe the stem
The stem is strong and holds the plants and leaves onto the plant

Leaves are green and flat
What does an egg carry?
The egg carries the nutrients that the animal needs to grow
