- The sun is closest are to the earth but it is still very far away
- The sun is huge 109 times larger than earth
- Huge ball of burning gas
- It gives off heat and light energy that travels to earth and allows animals and plants to live
- The centre of the sun is about 1.3 million degrees
- The earth is just the right distance from the sun for us to survive
How does the earth move?
It ROTATES on its own AXIS
it REVOLVES around the sun in an ORBIT

How does a rocket move?
Air or gas comes out on one side and the rocket moves in the opposite direction. The direction can be controlled

A change in the moons form

The phase between full moon and quarter moon
