What did Kennan warn the USA about communism, and what did the USA do to stop this ?
He warned that the USSR wanted to spread communism throughout the world. So the USA introduced the policy of containment (To stop communism from spreading).

Greece was in a civil was between allies and communists. The UK could no longer afford to fund them so the USA had to step in

Explain the Marshall plan
Truman thought that communism would take control easier if the country was poor. So the Marshall plan was introduced to help economically
How much money was in the Marshall plan and how was it to be distributed ?
$13.3 billion over four years.
The countries had to open their markets to western goods and allow the USA to inspect their economic records
What happened in Czechoslovakia in Feb 1948 ?
Most Czechoslovakians didn’t want a communist GOV. But the only non-communist minister was thrown to his death. So on the 31st March congress approved the plan.
