What is NanoMetalene?
NanoMetalene is a sub micron layer of molecularly bonded, commercially pure titanium that provides a microscopic roughened surface which improves osteogenic responses.
When applied to a PEEK core, NanoMetalene transforms PEEKs hydrophobic (water repellent) surface into a hydrophilic (water attractive) titanium surface without compromising its favourable stiffness and imaging characteristics.
