Setting in a story is the time and place where the events happen. It includes details about the environment, such as the location, weather, and historical period.
Definition of Symbolism?
Symbolism is when an author uses objects, characters, or events to represent ideas or ideas beyond their literal meaning. (Ex. a heart can symbolize love)
Definition of Foreshadowing?
Foreshadowing is a storytelling technique where the author gives hints or clues about events that will happen later in the story.

Conflict in a story is a struggle or problem that the characters face. (Ex. Character vs. Character, Character vs. Self (internal conflict), Character vs. Nature, Character vs. Society)

Compare and contrast is a way to look at how two or more things are similar and different.
