Term is a sensible conventionsl sign expressive of an idea. It is an oral expression of an idea

A term is conventional sign; a single idea can be expressed in various terms.
Do not express a concept, but in conjunction with (syn) another word or words, they may express new meaning.
Syncategorematic or co-significant words.
