A

30 days from date of dispatch of OJEU notice (if its over the £4.3million threshold). Can be reduced to 15 days if it meets certain criteria.

A

30 days or four weeks. Except in Competitive Dialogue when there are no set response for tender.

Design and build - if design is not developed then 3-4 months maybe required

If its a traditional, single stage tender with no CDP - 14 days or 21 days is appropriate.

Can be extended if:

  • Pre-qualification questionnaire is complex
  • Contractor Design Portion is Included

A

Traditional - stage 4
One stage D+B - stage 3
Two stage D+B - stage 2 tender of preffered contractor for pre-construction services. Stage 4 building contract awarded based on contractor’s proposals
Management contract - stage 2 = building contract awarded - stage 4 = design info issued in agreed work packages for tender
Contractor-led - stage 2 and 3

(this is a less essential question)

A
  • details of the project and its estimated value
  • the employer, the professional team, and contact points
  • the tendering procedure to be used
  • the programme
  • CDP design
  • BIM requirements
  • Contract to be used and any amendments
  • Contract Particulars - details of Collateral Warranties and Insurances
  • criteria of pre-selection including weightings and order of importance.
  • the basis of contract award (lowest price or price and quality)

Subject to PC Regulations this can be extended to 35 days.
