What are CIs & Precautions?

A
  1. No massage with active dental infection
  2. If self diagnosed, refer out.
  3. Be cautious of vessels & nerves in anterior & posterior neck
  4. Do not treat anterior cervical spine bilaterally
  5. No heavy pressure over temporal styloid process
  6. No frictions with anti inflammatories
  7. Do not compress over mandible in superior direction
  8. Gloves must be used for intra oral
    - no latex if allergic
  9. Intra oral should be gentle
